Volunteering to Change the Future of Cancer Care

As a volunteer at Miami Cancer Institute, you’ll gain as much as you give, whether it’s learning new skills, getting school credits or experiencing the satisfaction that comes from helping someone in need.

Volunteers fill many important roles, including spending time with patients and their loved ones during treatments, participating in community events alongside our staff members, helping with office duties, greeting guests, and much more. As a volunteer, you can choose the tasks and times that work for your lifestyle. However, a preferred schedule is 2-4 four consecutive hours on the same day and at the same time.

In addition to knowing that they are serving the community and helping others, volunteers are eligible for other benefits.
