Are clinical trials available for gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors?

Participating in a clinical trial can give you access to treatments that are not yet widely available, and provide more options if your cancer has returned. A clinical trial may include a new drug or combination of drugs, or a new surgical or radiation technique.

Researchers at Miami Cancer Institute work hard to improve gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumor treatment through clinical trials. We offer clinical trial treatments through the Institute as well as through the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Alliance, creating a clinical trial program that is one of the best in the nation and unmatched by any other cancer center in South Florida. Our patients also have access to clinical trials offered through the National Cancer Institute (NCI).
