Are clinical trials available for pediatric brain tumors?

Research is ongoing to find more effective treatment options and to improve outcomes and quality of life for children with brain tumors. We may recommend a clinical trial if we think your child could benefit. You find out more on our clinical trials page, and you can search for brain tumor clinical trials. As a member of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Alliance, we may be able to offer access to clinical trials, a promising new treatment for certain brain tumors that are difficult to treat and often recur.

As a member of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Alliance, we may be able to offer access to clinical trials not widely available elsewhere.

We are also part of the Children’s Oncology Group, the world’s largest organization devoted exclusively to childhood and adolescent cancer research.

Miami Cancer Institute only conducts trials that we believe may improve care and outcomes. We may offer clinical trials to compare new treatment methods, diagnostic tests, prevention strategies or other aspects of care.
