Are clinical trials available for pediatric leukemia?

Research is ongoing to find more effective treatment options and to improve outcomes and quality of life for children with leukemia. Miami Cancer Institute is involved in clinical trials for new treatments for lymphoid leukemia, and we may recommend a clinical trial if we think your child could benefit. You find out more on our clinical trials page. As a member of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Alliance, we may be able to offer access to clinical trials not widely available elsewhere.

We are also part of the Children’s Oncology Group, the world’s largest organization devoted exclusively to childhood and adolescent cancer research.

Miami Cancer Institute only conducts trials that we believe may improve care and outcomes. We may offer clinical trials to compare new treatment methods, diagnostic tests, prevention strategies or other aspects of care.
