Thanks to progress in screening, diagnosis and treatment, breast cancer — the most common cancer in women and the second most deadly — is also one of the most treatable. Miami Cancer Institute’s committed and compassionate team is determined to fight it using the latest proven treatments and intensive follow-up care with all the support services you might need.
Miami Cancer Institute can provide access to clinical trials not widely available elsewhere. Clinical trials find new ways to treat and diagnose cancer and are ongoing. If an appropriate trial is available, we will talk to you about the benefits and risks.
Grace Wang, M.D., is a board-certified medical oncologist at the Miami Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health. Dr. Wang specializes in breast cancer. Dr. Wang serves as co-chair for the Baptist Health Breast Cancer Disease Management committee and is a member of the Baptist Health Oncology committee. She also volunteers with the Miami-Dade/Monroe Unit of the American Cancer Society, the Day of Caring Professional Advisory Board and Relay for Life. She was honored as an Exceptional Women in Medicine for both 2019 and 2020.
Dr. Wang’s care philosophy is being an empathetic doctor who thinks about the total patient and stays up-to-date in her field in order to provide the highest level of treatment. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Wang enjoys quilting, jazzercise, collecting rocks, gardening and feeding birds.
As Florida's only member of the Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) Cancer Alliance, Miami Cancer Institute is part of a deep and functional collaboration that affords patients access to innovative treatments right here at home and ensures that the standards of care developed by our multidisciplinary disease management team match those at MSK.
